Our Partners

ISBF and University of London (UOL)
Established in 1836, University of London is one of largest universities in the world with 17 independent member institutions like LSE, University College London & King’s College London
In terms of our partnership with UOL, ISBF is a Recognised Teaching Centre because of which all ISBF students enrol as students of University of London. Upon graduation, students are awarded their degree or diploma from University of London at the annual convocation in London.
Opportunities & Awards by UOL
-
Every year, all graduates are invited to attend the UOL Convocation in London
-
Top 5 performers from India are given the Academic Achievement Awards which waives their 2nd year registration & examination fee
-
Students who score the highest marks in an LSE course exam receive a Top Scorer Certificate from UOL along with scholarship to study at LSE
ISBF & The London School of Economics
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is ranked #2 in the world for the Social Sciences, 4th for Accounting and Finance, 5th for Economics and Econometrics & 10th for Business and Management by QS in 2020.
LSE provides academic direction for the Economics, Management, Finance & Social Science programmes taught at ISBF. Since students at ISBF study the curriculum taught at LSE, the final University of London degree awarded to an ISBF graduate also bears LSE’s name, and is treated as equivalent to an LSE degree.

Transfer to LSE in 2nd Year
Undergraduate students at ISBF have the opportunity to transfer to LSE as well as other top colleges around the world after completing their first year here.
15 ISBF students have received offers to transfer to LSE in the past 7 years, including full scholarship. This gives ISBF one of the most successful track records globally with respect to transfers to LSE.
Master’s at LSE & Other International Universities
While you get the opportunity to transfer to LSE in 2nd year, students at ISBF also get better scholarships after completing the programme.

Summer School Scholarships
LSE offers two full scholarships annually to ISBF’s undergraduate students for its Summer School.
These awards pay for the entirety of the scholars’ tuition and accommodation for a 3-week Summer School session and have been received by 13 students so far.

Degree Recognition
The undergraduate and graduate degrees awarded at ISBF are internationally recognised degrees awarded by the University of London. The final degree includes the University of London logo and signature of the Vice Chancellor, and indicates London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) as the lead college.
However, since some Indian colleges and government job applications may insist on a UGC recognised undergraduate degree, ISBF offers all undergraduate students the option to enrol for a UGC-recognised degree programme with IGNOU.

Affiliation with Mountbatten Institute
ISBF has been affiliated with the Mountbatten Institute since 2011 which gives students the opportunity to take up 1-year international work placements in London and New York. This one year work placement gives them exposure to highly challenging work environments and an international corporate culture while working with investment banks such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, UBS and Barclays.
