ORIENTATION CEREMONY

New beginnings, to fly free, the adrenaline of starting something new, it all starts here. Memories for a lifetime, a chance to discover interests, and make friends whom you might end up calling family, so take a deep breath and embrace this beautiful journey that you are going to start!

ORIENTATION WEEK

Orientation week is designed for the freshers to get a hang of ISBF. Starting with an informal session with the CC and SC, this is where we welcome you to our ISBF family and you will get to know your seniors better and bond. After this comes the Society fair, buckle up to put your interests into action. We are sure the whole week was full of fun and excitement.

i-TREAT

This event is now a tradition at ISBF. The freshers are divided into two teams where they have to approach food vendors for the grand event. The first years have to team up well, decorate the recreational area in a unique way and then sell the maximum amount of drinks and food to the rest of the college. Whichever team makes the most profit, wins! The event is combined with loads of dares and games that make this such an unforgettable experience!

FRESHERS

Like any other college freshers, the freshers at ISBF too are your breakthrough event. This will be at the end of an exhausting orientation week where you get to meet and party with your batch mates and seniors. The event is designed to ensure you relax, dance, enjoy and bond with your batch mates and seniors in an informal way.

SOCIAL CONCLAVE

Social Conclave is a social conference held to understand, discuss and debate the social problems in India and how we as responsible citizens can help make society a better place by coming up with solutions to those issues. The various topics covered previously were Elderly Care and Support, Gender Discrimination, LGBTQ+, Rural Education, Sexual Abuse, Drug Abuse, Mental Health, Cyber Bullying, Gender Based Sex Selection, Urbanisation, Social Inclusion of Differently Abled, Climate Action, Financial Independence of Women, Rural Illiteracy and Unemployment, Zero Hunger and Youth Privacy and Social Media. The millennials are the future of this country and we believe that youth mobilisation can take this country forward by leaps and bounds.

COLLEGE TRIP

Pretty self-explanatory, right? But what you don’t know is that this is the most awaited event throughout the year. Probably the only event where all three batches come together and spend quality time together! This will be your first interaction with all the seniors in an informal, relaxing environment! Everyone is not only pumped about the exotic location chosen by the core council, they are also hyped to be a part of the events and festivities planned during the trip. This event will help you make the most memories that you will cherish forever.

XENIA

Whether talking about LGBTQ rights or mentioning the importance of sustainability, Xenia has always been a way for the ISBF community to connect with others. With 10 Xenias that happened on the ISBF campus and the previous year’s online, Xenia is woven with love, enthusiasm and energy, Xenia is not only one of ISBF's flagship events, this is when the ISBF family works together late in the evenings, and if we tell you that this is when we make so many friends from other batches, it is nothing but truth. Cannot wait for you all to be a part of Xenia madness.
