About the Programme

The Graduate Diploma in Data Science takes an interdisciplinary and application-oriented approach to Data Science. Dr. James Abdey from LSE is the Visiting Lecturer for this programme. The students are held to the same standards of academic rigour which are applied internally at LSE ensuring that they learn economic, management and financial application of Data Science, nurturing them into better decision makers.

This programme is comprised of four modules, all of which have a healthy emphasis on software training and three of which have a coursework component training.

The nomenclature “Graduate” Diploma is used because this diploma is a University of London award, and in the UK, “postgraduate” students are referred to as “graduate” students, while students pursuing “graduation” are referred to as “undergraduate” students.
