ISBF has a well-stocked library which supports and facilitates the delivery of our programmes. All recommended teaching and learning resources for courses are available in the library, which also houses a rich collection of books, journals, magazines and other curricular and non-curricular resources. VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT (VLE)

The Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is a dedicated online portal for EMFSS programme students, curated and updated throughout the year by course tutors and academicians at LSE. It serves as the virtual hub for all UOL students and teachers, who can use it for accessing course resources such as the Subject Guide, Past Examiners’ Commentaries, learning activities and videos, examination advice, worldwide discussion forums moderated by LSE faculty members and important updates pertaining to the course as well as the programme. VLE also hosts the UOL Online Library, a Student Hub, course orientation resources, strategies for success, study skills and career skills, webinar tutorials and other useful tools. The course-wise Discussion Forums are among the VLE’s most unique and rich features, and you are recommended to use these actively and vigorously to engage with students from around the world and give yourself the invaluable benefit of multiple international perspectives on the various topics of a course. You may discuss this further with your course teachers, who would be best placed to advise you on how to make the most of the Discussion Forum for their respective courses.
